How to use your Amento Labs card for purchases.
Online Purchases
Use your card number, expiration date, and CVV at any online merchant that accepts Visa or Mastercard.
Mobile Wallets
Add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay for contactless payments:
- Open your wallet app (Apple Wallet / Google Wallet)
- Tap Add card or +
- Enter your Amento card details manually
- Verify and start using tap-to-pay
In-Store Purchases
Once added to a mobile wallet, you can use your card at any contactless terminal — just tap your phone.
Declined Transactions
If a transaction is declined, common causes include:
- Insufficient balance on the card
- Merchant restrictions (some merchants block prepaid cards)
- Geographic restrictions for certain transaction types
- Network issues with the payment processor
Prepaid virtual cards may not work for subscriptions or recurring payments at some merchants.
Checking Your Balance
Card balances can be checked via the redemption URL provided when the card was created. The Amento dashboard shows the initial load amount but not real-time spend tracking (coming soon).
